About Molina's Custom Shutters

Molina's Custom Shutters is a local, family-owned manufacturer of custom wood shutters in Phoenix, Arizona — previously traded as Aztec Shutters. The company's own description of itself is the honest summary: a local business dedicated to crafting high-quality custom wood shutters tailored to each home, with superior craftsmanship, personalized design and service you will not find from a national chain. Owner Ricardo Molina guides homeowners through every step, from the initial measurement to the final installation, with factory-direct pricing and a hands-on approach at every stage.

Everything is made locally in Phoenix. That is a practical advantage, not a slogan: strict quality control on every panel, a typical 4–6 weeks from consultation to installation, finishes matched to your interior — a wide range of stains and paints, customized when you have a specific color in mind — and shutters designed for Arizona's climate, helping insulate your home against Phoenix summers. The portfolio on the company's own site shows the range: shutters following a curved wall, oversized louvers framing a pool view, crown-molding frames, and dark stained wood.

Molina's also repairs and installs: broken or missing louvers, broken tilt rods, hinges and hardware are repaired to restore the original function and beauty of plantation shutters for a fraction of replacement cost, and professional installation is offered even for shutters purchased elsewhere or online — for homeowners and interior designers alike. The business is at 3114 W Thomas Rd #503, Phoenix, AZ 85017, open daily 8am to 6pm at (602) 920-9306.
